HOW IS THIS GALAXY

This is a wooden Galaxy which where the Wittles (or Tronquitos in the Spanish version) live. Here you will have to use the new Yoshi´s Power- Up to keep going through this great tree, avoiding the enemies, collecting the Star Ring pieces and flying until you get the Star.

"I AM A WITTLE. WELCOME TO THE TALL TRUNK GALAXY.  I HAVE SOMTHING TO TELL YOU: THIS STAR IS EASY, BUT THE NEXT ONE IS A NIGHTMARE."

And he´s right...

BLIMP YOSHI

After eating a blue fruit, Yoshi will fly for a short period of time. Thanks to him, you will reach higher places, and will go up, until Yoshi runs out of air. 

ENEMIES

The Paragoombas will be disturbing you a lot. There are also some spiders, that can jump and make you lose 1 HP.

I´M BACK, DUDES!! DID YOU MISS ME?
MY ADVICE
When you run out of air, start pressing A. This will make Yoshi fly a little bit more, and it may help you to achieve your objective. 

TALL TRUNK´S BIG SLIDE

(EL SUPERTOBOGÁN DEL ARBOLÓN)

HOW IS THIS GALAXY
Welcome to HELL!!! This Galaxy is freaking impossible!!! You must go down through a slide, and you can´t stop. You can jump or spin, but that will make you fall through the holes of the slide. There are enemies here that can throw you out of the slide. When you complete this Galaxy, a Wittle will give you the Star of this hell.

WAIT!! STOP!!! I WANT TO GET OUT OF HERE!!!
ENEMIES
Alot of enemies are waiting for you here: Spinies, Angry Wigglers, poisonous plants... This level is a nightmare!!! There are plenty of ways to die.

MY ADVICE

When you complete this Galaxy, don´t be silly and do not go back here again!!!!

Now, seriously, try not to jump unless it´s necessary. When you jump, you lose balance and you can fall everywhere.  I needed more than half an hour to complete this freaking nightmare!!!However, there are pros that can do it in the first time they play this Galaxy.

One more detail, when you arrive at the end of the slide, there is a 1-UP mushroom behind a tree.

CLOUDY COURT GALAXY

(GALAXIA NUBES NOBLES)

HEAD IN THE CLOUDS

HOW IS THIS GALAXY

This is a Galaxy where you will need Cloud Mario: There will be windmills that can push the clouds that Cloud Mario can create. You must keep going through these Galaxy by creating clouds. Remember that the Cloud Power-Up will disppear when an enemy hits you, and in some phases of the Galaxy threre is no ground... Don´t suicide!!

ENEMIES

Goombas and Octoombas are classic enemies that appear in most of the Galaxies. This Galaxy is not an exception. However, I must say one thing about the Flaptacks. Yes, that Suicide Birds that appear in the Fluffy Bluffy Galaxy. Thay can destroy the clouds you create and make you suicide. 

I WILL BE ALWAYS THERE TO DISTURB THAT CLOUD PLUMBER!

MY ADVICE

There will always be clouds for you to use, so don´t worry if you lose 1 or 2. In the last phase, the walls will try to smash you, but there are parts of the wall, you can rest a little bit. Do not ry to climb the wall without stopping. You will suicide. 

THE GLITCH

Yes, this is a new section only for this Galaxy. I tried to do a length jump at the beginning of the Galaxy (I was plying with Luigi). He hit himself with a wall, he stayed 3 or 4 second without moving, and then he fell to a black hole. I don´t know if my Wii is too old, or if it is a glitch, but I thought I should share this.

SILVER STARS IN THE PURPLE POND

HOW IS THIS GALAXY

This is a hidden Star in the Cloudy Court Galaxy. You must feed a Hungry Luma (that coin thief) with 30 coins!!! So he transform in a new planet. This Galaxy may look preety good, if you see the title, but I can tell you that this is another nightmare Galaxy. There are 5 Silver Stars in a poisonous pond. If you fall there, you will have a slow death. But that isn´t the worst part. 

ENEMIES

NO!!! The Cosmic Clones are back. They will be chasing you throughout the pond. When you get the first Silver Star, the first clone will appear. When you collect a new Silver Star, a new Cosmic Clone will appear. Rememeber that if they hit you, you lose yoor Cloud Power-Up, and if you lose it, you can´t walk through the clouds. The clouds will disappear and you wil fall into the pond!!

YOU CAN ESCAPE, BUT YOU WILL NOT HIDE FROM US!!

HAUNTY HALLS GALAXY

(GALAXY PASILLOS DE PESADILLA) 

A GLIMMER OF BULB BERRY

HOW IS THIS GALAXY
Here you will have to walk through paths that will be always appearing and disappearing. How do I complete  this Galaxy? Easy. In one part, Yoshi will have to eat some yellow fruits to make the path appear again. If you don´t have Yoshi, just run for your life. This is is a scary Galaxy. I wonder one thing: where is Luigi when you need him to fight against ghosts?

BULB YOSHI
By eating some yellow fruits, Yoshi will have its own light and this will allow you to walk through hidden paths. However, this Power-Up is also for a limited time. When the bulb effects dissapear, the paths will disappear, and if you are walking over a hidden path.... UAAAAAAAH!!!

ENEMIES
Here you will find Octoboos (the ghosts of the Octoombas you have killed) and Jack O´Goombas (Goombas protected with pumpkins) in a secret area.

MY ADVICE
There are a lot of coins in this Galaxy. Don´t try to get all the coins because you will suicide. Focus on getting all the Bulb Berries, so the path doesn´t disappear.  Or you can do this. 

SNEAKING DOWN THE CREEPY CORRIDOR

(EL CORREDOR DEL MIEDO) 

HOW IS THIS GALAXY

Welcome to the creepiest Galaxy of the whole game.  This is a corridor  with a lot of creepy monsters, that can hit you, or make you suicide, or destroy the ground... Here you will find lots of Boos that will frighten you many times. I ask again: Where is Luigi when you need him to fight against these guys?

ENEMIES

Appart from the Boos (Luigi, where are you??) and the Giant Boos there are enemies that eat the ground and make it disappear, called Mattermouths (they eat matter Ja, Ja. Bad joke.)

MY ADVICE

When you look at them, the Boos stop chasing you. But my advice is RUNNING, RUNNING, and if you don´t have energy , RUN AGAIN. The Boos will not stop until they kill you.

BEAT BLOCK GALAXY

STEP TO THE BEEP

HOW IS THIS GALAXY

After giving 1000 Star Bits to a Hungry Luma, he will drive you to this Galaxy. The sound is very important. There are green and yellow panels. Every time you hear the Beep, Beep, Beep, the panels will switch, and you must pay attention so you don´t fall down. You must collect 5 Silver Stars, so they transform into a great Power Star.This Galaxy isn´t very difficult, but there is a variation that is almost impossible: the Prankster Speed Comet.

ENEMIES

In the Green panels, many Octoombas will appear. In the yellow panels, Goombeetles, the Goombas with hats will be waiting for you.

MY ADVICE

Keep waiting until you hear the Beep, Beep, Beep. It is an easy Galaxy, so it doesn´t go very fast. But remember no to do what this video is showing.

WORLD 2-2. SKATING, SWIMMING AND FLYING

BUMBLE BEGINNINGS

(¡LAS MIELES DE MARIO!) 

HOW IS THIS GALAXY

You will unlock this Galaxy after feeding a Hungry Luma that will ask you for a lot of Star Bits.

When you arrive here, some bees will tell you that they are looking for a Star. You will have a new Power-Up to reach that Star: Bee Mario. You must keep flying to advance through the Galaxy, avoiding the enemies. There are only two Galaxies where you will need a Bee mushroom. This is one of them.

BEE MARIO

This is a new Power-Up, that will allow you to keep flying for a short period of time. Then, you will need to land or to get a coin to recover before starting flying again. This Power- Up disappears when you touch water or you get hit by an enemy.

 

ENEMIES

Do you remember that in the Hightail Falls and in the Wild Glide Galaxy there were not enemies? Well, here there are lots of them: from Fuzzies, classic black spots that have appeared in every Mario game, to Choppahs, flying monsters that are impossible to defeat by jumping on them or spining. There are Goombas and Venus Piranha plants, plants that will trap you if you spend too much time resting on them.

MY ADVICE

Wait until the Choppahs are down before jumping. If not, you can die because of them. 

There is one phases in which the are cherries that will give you more time to fly if you hit against them.

THE SECRET WALL JUMP

(LA ESCALADA SECRETA HACIA LA ESTRELLA)

HOW IS THIS GALAXY

This is a hidden Star in the Honeybloom Galaxy. You must go up by jumping from one wall to another, until you reach a small lake with the Power Star. It does not take a great time to get this Star (I did it in 40 seconds).

ENEMIES

Before that wall, you will find two lonely Goombas, that will want to kill you.

MY ADVICE

Well, this Star is easy to get, but you will have to explore the Galaxy to discover that there is a Star in that place.

Just by exploring the Galaxy, (although this may bring some terrible deaths).

COSMIC COVE GALAXY

TWIN FALLS HIDEAWAY

(EL MISTERIO DE LAS CASCADAS GEMELAS)

HOW IS THIS GALAXY

You will face a penguin that also appeared in Super Mario Galaxy, and he tells you that everyone is swimming. You will have to enter in the water and to keep going without losing all your air, until you arrive to a Tower that has a button that can freeze all the planet. You must do the wall jump in two freezed walls to reach the Star.

                        

This are all the type of penguins that you can find in this Galaxy.

ENEMIES

In this Galaxy you will find 1 Koopa, some fishes called Cheep Cheeps, some Skeeters and 1 Porcu-Puffer. There are a lot of underwater enemies.

MY ADVICE

After defeating the Koopa that is in the beach, don´t throw his shell away. Grab it and get into the water with it. It will help you to go faster underwater, and it will kill some enemies, too. 

EXPLORING THE COSMIC CAVERN

(EXPEDICIÓN EN LA GRUTA GÉLIDA)

HOW IS THIS GALAXY

When you arrive you see that a Luma is trapped and you must find the key to free him. You must keep going over the ice and underwater , without losing your air, until you find the key to free him. He will seand you to a planet full of enemies that you must defeat, so the planet gets covered by the water and you can get the Star, that is over the water.

ENEMIES

Here you will find mines, that you can destroy by throwing Star Bits to them, Goombas, Lil´Brs(they can freeze you  if you touch them) and huge monsters called Gringills, they can make you lose 1 HP.

MY ADVICE

Get all the coins you can, because if you lose your air you die. You can also get bubbles to recover. Spin to swim faster. That is something that will surely help. 

CATCH THAT STAR BUNNY

(¡ATRAPA AL CONEJO ESTELAR!) 

HOW IS THIS GALAXY

This is a hidden Star in the Cosmic Cove Galaxy. You will have to give 15 coins to a Hungry Luma (what I call Thieve Lumas), to unlock this planet. It has a black hole in the center, so it´s better to avoid falling there. Here you will have to chase a Star Bunny until you trap him, so he gives you that hidden Power Star. 

ENEMIES

To stop you and to make more difficult to catch the Star Bunny, there are many Skeeters throughout the planet, BUT you can freeze them so they don´t disturb you anymore.

MY ADVICE

When you arrive at the planet, there is a blue button that can freeze the planet. The Skeeters will not disturb you for a short period of time. Start skating (you will go faster) and catch that fast Bunny. He will give you that Power Star. But be careful. If you go extremely fast, you will suicide.

BOWSER´S LAVA LAIR

HOW IS THIS GALAXY

This is the first Bowser´s battle of the game. You will have to keep going through this Galaxy, with plenty of enemies, and to open huge doors by doing Bomb jumps on meteorites. It is a very good Galaxy, where you can find a wide variety of enemies, and also the Toad Brigade. Advance through this crazy Galaxy full of dangers, enemies, and, of course, lava. 

ENEMIES

Dry Bones, Hammer Bros (special tutles that throw hammers), Whomps (they can kill you by smashing you), Bowser´s electric statues, that throw electric radiation, flames ... They are only some of the enemies that are waiting for you here. 

 

BOWSER 1 (BOSS)

He is the final boss of World 2. You get to him after destroying a locker with meteorites. You must avoid Bowser´s punch and  flame and hit him with meteorites, that fall on the planet,  4 times to defeat him. You only have one opportunity of hitting him, before the self-destruction of the meteorites. After defeating Bowser, he will escape and you will have a Maxi Star.

He is not really difficult to defeat, but you will have to battle him again in another Galaxy.

MY ADVICE

Avoid to be smashed by the Whomps, and practise doing BOMB JUMPS on the meteorites. You will have to learn it for the final battle.

HOW IS THIS GALAXY?

This is the first Galaxy of World 2. Her you will find many sawing machines that can make the wooden path disappear.  So you must run. This Puzzle Plank will help you to learn the Bomb Jump, something that will be useful against some bosses. At the end you must solve a puzzle of a beetle. After solving it, a miniboss will appear.

ENEMIES.

Appart from the freaking sawing machines, there are two Wigglers (pacific animals that get angry easily), the Suicide Mosquitoes and one Mandibug, a beetle that you can smach with a Bomb jump, before the boss.

MANDIBUG STACK (BOSS) 

After completing the puzzle, two Mandibugs will appear. You must defeat both of them to get the Star. How do I defeat them? Easy, do a Bomb Jump over the first one and the other one will get angry because of his partner´s death. Smash him and the Star will appear. 

MY ADVICE 

Run for your life. The sawing machines will not wait for you and they will destroy the wooden ground. Don´t waste time with the enemies. They are there to distract you. 

BUGABOOM´S BACK

HOW IS THIS GALAXY?

Here´s a Star that, in my opinion, is better not to collect until it is necessary. After giving 70 coins to a Hungry Luma, you will unlock a Star Ring to fight against Bugaboom.

This is a freaking boss, that only wants to drive you mad. This boss appeared in Super Mario Galaxy.

ENEMIES

As it is a hidden Star, the enemies are the same as in the Puzzling Picture Block. But, you should defeat them to get the  70 coins. 

BUGABOOM (BOSS)

He appeared in Super Mario Galaxy and he wants revenge. The difference is that, in the first part you needed Bee Mario, another Power- Up, and here, Cloud Mario will have to defeat this enormous beetle.  As the title says, his weak point is his back.  You must hit him there with a Bomb Jump three times. But it will not be so easy. After the first time you hit him, he will get angry and start flying. There is were you need Cloud Mario: to reach him. He can throw Bombs, and before being defeated he will turn red. 

MY ADVICE

Before the Luma (he asks you for a lot of coins, so you must defeat enemies and get the coins) there is a dark room where you can get tons of coins. This room will be protagonist in another star, but this is something we´ll talk about another day.  

BOULDER BOWL GALAXY

ROCK & ROLODILLO

(ROCK & ROLODILLO)

HOW IS THIS GALAXY

In this Galaxy, you will learn to use a new Power-Up: Rock Mario. You will have to defat all the enemies by stomping them, with the rock. You must repeat this process with the final boss three times to get the Star.

ROCK MARIO

This is a new Power- Up that will give Mario the power of transforming into a giant Rock. By spinning, Mario can smash enemies until he hits a wall. Being a rock, you can also jump, altough it is not recommendable, and go through the sprint areas, like the one in the upper photo, and make walls fall. If you touch a Star Ring, you will lose your power. 

ENEMIES

Here there are plenty of enemies, that can be easily defeated by  Rock Mario, like the Octoombas, the Boulders (giant rocks with a red area which is their weak point), and Pinheads (like the bowls of a bowling alley). The only enemie you can´t defeat with Rock Mario are Chain Chomps: they will remove your Power-Up and you will lose 1 HP. 

  

BOULDER                                             PINHEADS

ROLODILLO (BOSS) 

He is the boss of the Boulder Bowl Galaxy. He is an armadillo covered by rocks in the front part. He will try to hit you, so you lose your Rock Mario Power-Up. But after trying to hit you several times, he will get dizzy, and there is when you can hit him in the butt. Do it three times, and you will get the Power Star.

MY ADVICE

Practise with Rock Mario, or you can have so terrible deaths because of suiciding. Don´t try to hit Rolodillo in his head. I died the first time I played against him because of that.

C´MERE, GOOMBA 

(¡SÍGUEME, GOOMBA!)

HOW IS THIS GALAXY 

In one point of the advennture, you will meet a Golden Gearmo that will tell you to attrack a Goomba to where she is. So she can give you a Star. The Goombas are trapped inside some pink glasses. You must break them and make the Goomba follow you until you reach the Gearmo. 

ENEMIES

Octoombas, Boulders and Chain Chomps will be there to kill the Goomba. Appart from that, the mud will also stop you, so the Goomba, that is also an enemy, can hit you. 

MY ADVICE

It is easy to get frustrated when the Goomba hits you or when he is killed before reaching the Gearmo. Keep calm. If you lose HP, as one Luma says, you can get coins to recover your HP, by throwing Star Bits to some yellow points. 

HIGHTAIL FALL GALAXY 

(GALAXIA CATARATAS LEJANAS)

HOT STEPPING DASH PEPPER

HOW IS THIS GALAXY?
Here you will need Yoshi to use the new Power-Up: the Dash Pepper. Because in this weird Galaxy you will have to go extremely fast or to go running by the walls, in this the way you can get the Power Star.

DASH YOSHI
This is the first Yoshi´s Power-Up in the whole game. It is a big red pepper that will make Yoshi turn red and run extremely fast, until the effects disappear. You can see that Dash Yoshi appears at the beginning of the blog. I think this is the most difficult Power-Up to control (from Yoshi´s power Ups).


ENEMIES 
This is the Galaxy with the least number of enemies of the whole game!!! Can you belive that there are only three Paragoombas???

"YEAH!!! WE WILL DEFEAT MARIO. WE´RE THREE!!!"

MY ADVICE
It is quite difficult to control Dash Yoshi. If you hit a column while you are walking on the walls, you´ll probably suicide. Remember that you can press Z and A to get free from Yoshi. However, he will suicide. (10:20)

SILVER STARS IN HIGHTAIL FALLS

(ESTRELLAS DE PLATA EN LAS CATARATAS LEJANAS)

HOW IS THIS GALAXY?

This is a hidden Star in a planet that you will reach after giving 30 coins to a Hungry Luma (Ok, I was wrong: not all Lumas are thieves who want to steal all your coins). In this secret planet you will have to steal 5 Silver Stars from some monsters to get the hidden Power Star. 

ENEMIES

Appart from those three Paragoombas, there are also some Kleptoads, these monsters. They have the Silver Stars and you have to use Yoshi to steal their Silver Stars.

MY ADVICE

Do not try to kill all the Kleptoads: they will appear new enemies as soon as you kill them. Focus on the ones with the Silver Stars on their heads. Those are the ones you must chase and kill.

WILD GLIDE GALAXY

(GALAXIA DESCENSO TROPICAL)

FLUZZARD FIRST FLIGHT

(¡A VOLAR CON GUACAPLANO!)

HOW IS THIS GALAXY?

Mario will land in a platform over a jungle. Two Jibberjays will tell you to fly with a shy bird called Fluzzard. They will give you some lessons of flying abou how to hold the Wii mote and all that stuff before you start flying with this Fluzzard. After reaching the goal, a great golden circle, the Jibberjays will give you the Star.

 

JIBBERJAY                                                                                               FLUZZARD

ENEMIES

There are not enemies in this Galaxy but that is because there are thousand of ways to die here! This Fluzzard is extremely fragile, and by crashing against something you can die. There are many things that can kill you: walls, ice, plants... Just by hitting yourself against that you will die.

MY ADVICE

By moving the Wii remote onwards, you will do a sidedown. It will be useful in the next Star, but if you want to get the Comet Medal, you must pass through the five Red Doors. If you see that the barrier protecting the Comet Medal doesn´t disappear, don´t try to get it. You will DIE!

JUNGLE FLUZZARD RACE

HOW IS THIS GALAXY?

This is basically the same Galaxy, but here you also have to deal with other Jibberjays that will challenge you and invite you to the race. Her there´s no Comet Medal. You must be the 1st and win this crazy race, so the Jipperjays give you the Star.

ENEMIES

As in the other Galaxy, the "only" enemies are are the walls, the ice, the water (where you can drown)... And the Jipperjays: you cannot kill them, but it is annoying to have 2 or 3 of them ahead of you.

MY ADVICE

Appart from running but not rushing, the only thing I can tell you is that these Jipperjays are not quite fast, so they are easy to win (I did the first time I participated in this race). There is a hard mode in other Galaxy, but we´ll disover that one in another chapter.
